The Outer Banks Marathon is one of the most scenic on the East Coast. The full course runs point-to-point from Kitty Hawk through Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head, crosses the Washington Baum Bridge, and finishes in downtown Manteo on Roanoke Island.
The weekend also includes a half marathon, an 8K, a 5K, and a kids' fun run, so families can pick a distance. Book lodging early — the whole beach fills up race weekend.
